DNApast Paternal Ancestry
The DNApast Paternal Ancestry test will tell you which one of the 18 paternal
lineages lineages currently identified worldwide is present in your DNA,
allowing you to discover the broad geographic region throughout
which the lineage is found. This works through the analysis of specific markers
within the Y
chromosome, which is only transmitted to males. The study of these markers allows
you to trace your paternal lineage and common ancestry back thousands of years
to the origin of men.
